Billed as adventure capital of the world, Andrew has been like a bairn in a sweetie shop since arriving...in fact he likened it to being like Christmas as a 9 yr old........so what adventures did we get up to???? What this space, meanwhile hear is a wee clue....

Jenny is not so enthusiastic... As Anne and Andrew speak of 120m high bungee jumps, Jenny has spent her time looking up the section in the guidebook on activities for children and even they are too extreme for her...

In the end we had a pretty tame time in Queenstown. Andrew couldn't get to go base jumping and has already done a bungee jump afore so we ended up going river surfing on a boogie board which was freezing due to the fact it had been snowing 2 days before but it was good fun, especially when going through the rapids...

We also went on what was supposed to be a 3 hour mountain bike trip which turned out to be 6 hours - this was partly due to the fact that the track we went on can hardly ever be used for mountain biking as it was so badly rutted you couldn't pedal without hitting the sides of the track.... Good job we never saw the guys who recommended the route to us again!
