A better picture of St Joseph Parish church behind the campground

Another beautiful day. Sunny and warm all day and we didn't do that much. This morning, we found a scenic little hiking trail around this park and walked it, It took us down behind the campground close to a very unique church past a home on a peninsula and along the bay across from North Sydney. Since the Fantasy tour group was leaving on the 3:30PM ferry, we went down and watched them load and then took some pictures as their ferry left. You wouldn't believe the number of trailer trucks, motor homes, travel trailers, motorcycles and cars that were loaded on the ferry. It was a full load as there were many vehicles left that did not make it and must wait for the next ferry at 6:30pm. While watching the ferry load, we met this couple from Newfoundland who are visiting Nova Scotia and will go back home on the ferry tomorrow. They are camped in a fifth wheel trailer at the same campground as us. They gave us a lot of information on the campgrounds to stay in Newfoundland and where to go to best see the whales and the moose. it was very interesting conversation, with their thick Newfoundland accent and our Tennessee accent, but we all had a lot of laughs over it! After the ferry left, Lois and I drove over to Sydney to the only Wal-Mart on the Cape Breton Island and walked the boardwalk in Sydney. Tomorrow, we will drive down to Louisbourg, another historic area.
