|We arrived at our campground near Halifax around noon. After lunch, we used GPS to take us to a Visitor Center next to the harbor in downtown Halifax. This is a fairly large city, maybe a little smaller than Nashville, TN and there were a lot of people walking the city streets as a cruise ship was in port. We were able to get tickets to the July 2nd performance for the International Tattoo, a nationally acclaimed musical in celebration of the Canadian Confederation. We had supper at the Triangle Pub in mid-town Halifax and then returned to the campground. We didn't take any pictures today as it was rainy and foggy. We want to see the changing of the guard at the Citadel, the down town Canada Day parade on Wednesday and we want to spend more time in the city of Halifax before we leave. We will probably go to Peggy's Cove, just south of Halifax tomorrow and see the lighthouse that everyone raves about and we may go to a museum at Lunenburg, a little further south of Peggy's Cove.
