A Scotsman met us as we arrived at PEI Preserve Company

We got up to rain and high winds this morning but we plan to do everything as planned, just dress accordingly. We visited the Canadian National Historic Site of Green Gables, this morning. This is where Lucy Maud Montgomery grew up and was inspired to write "Anne of Green Gables" and numerous other books. We took several pictures of the home and farm as they have been completely restored. We walked the paths that she wrote about in her books; Lovers lane, Balsam Hollow and the Haunted woods. We have tickets to the musical tonight at the Charlottetown Confederation Center to see "Anne of Green Gables". Very pricey, but we may only pass this way once so we plan to go for it. From Green Gables we went to New Glasgow to the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company, where we were met by a Scotsman, in kilts. Here we bought Blueberry/Raspberry preserves, Peach Salsa and taste tested many other flavors of salsa and preserves. Neat place! We will leave later this afternoon and visit the only Walmart in PEI and eat close to the Confederation Center tonight before attending the musical.
