On the way to Page

We drove through

Sand storm

The boat ramp at Page

No place for our kayaks here.

From our campsite

We left Bryce Canyon on a cold morning with snow flurries and drove to Page, AZ in a strong wind. The temperature rose as the elevation dropped. We dove into Wahweap Resort and RV Park, in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area near Powell. This is a large ARAMARK operation with a lodge, marina, houseboat rentals, and a campground. This gave us another chance to be sad over the demise of Glen Canyon by its damming. There are long launch ramps that ended before the water's edge here too. Launching a kayak seemed ludicrous and besides it was too windy.
