We made it to Auckland, finally. Apparently due to time changes what we thought was going to be a 6 hour flight from LAX to Nadi ended up being 11 hours, yikes! Fortunately the plane wasn't full, but I had to send Chris to an open row of seats so we could both stretch out and sleep, sleep being a relative term.
Nadi felt like stepping into a swimming pool when we got off the plane (roughly 90 percent humidity makes 75 degrees feel like a lot more.) We didn't see much, but Fiji was very green and pastoral.
Customs into NZ were more painless than we expected (According to the guy who examined our bags,we were fortunate our beef jerky was made in usa instead of just packaged in usa). Looking forward to heading to the South Island and getting our campervan tomorrow!
Love you all!
