Hello,

Hey everybody,

We arrived to Vang Vieng after just one technical stop this time. The tire of the bus exploded a hug and hard sound. This was scary and impressive but not dangerous as the bus has always a spare tire next to each other. So with a lot of patience as the Lao people we wait 30min and hit the road again.

Vang Vieng is great!! A little period of holiday, because I can assure you traveling is no holidays. All travelers that are crossing Lao stop in Vang Vieng and some stay quit a while just relaxing. There is a lot of partying going on but the bars closes at midnight so you are fresh the next day to explore the magnificent countryside. As you all know us we didn’t party at all :)...

We went tubing two times, it’s not so a sportive occupation but its great, you slide down the river inside a tube of a tractor. There are some bars next to the river where you can drink some soft drinks, tea or beer. As you all know us, we drank the soft drinks and the tea :). At the bars you have swings where you can do some monkey jumps with, into the water. Awesome, a little painful when I felt on my bottom but no injuries only a nice blue!

The first day we did this tubing we where with a nice group of people (10 Px) so we did the next 5 days all activities together. One day we went mountain biking, through the dry rice fields looking for the caves in the environment. Magnificent.

All good things have an end and we need to move on to the south, time is ticking unfortunately. We will do the trip together with our friends to the next town and not with the bus, but this is a story for next time.

Big kisses.
