Robin & Jerome's Trip to West Africa and Europe travel blog

So how do I summarize the last few days in only the 10 minutes that I have on the computer. Everything has been going really good right now. Jerome is currently at PAC finishing up a proposal for funding for more computers at the centre as they have 1 that is run on a generator. PAC is REALLY really new in Liberia. They just recieved NGO status in January of this year. We have been doing a lot of admin work writing proposals, assisting with the budget etc. But it has been good. We have been really busy ever since we have come here. We also have a meeting today with the educational and medical leaders, jerome is even meeting with the minister of Education tomorrow. Ha ha ha, we keep telling them that we are not specialist in this area but they keep saying any information you can provide is helpful.

I came in to the Market with Martha ( a local liberian girl that has been helping me out a lot) she is great. The market is SO busy, selling everything you can imagine.

I have learned to very much appreciate water here. We have absolutely no running water, we have a few buckets a day to bathe. It is not hot but we are glad it isn't as it is HOT and HUMID here!

Oh no I have 2 minutes....things I have appreciated in the last few days...

oh my co-op wallet that I brought of kims last minute. Has been my savior walking in the market! (p.s thx for the letters...loved them) The pics from chey and tonay....they love seeing them too. Soap suds!!! our saving grace

got to go

thx for the msgs everyone

lots of love. Happy valentines day!

Love jerome and robin
