The four of us enjoying our visit...

Spent the past 3 days visiting with friends Herb and Darlene. They reside in Boise, Idaho, but travel a few of the winter months to escape the cold. We were fortunate to have lovely weather for their entire visit. That is until today, they pulled out this morning with fairly heavy winds, heading to Parker Arizona. Hopefully the gusts will improve as they get on down the road.

Larry and Herb could spend hours talking about everything under the sun! So, Darlene and I went shopping of course. We hit both the outlet malls, mostly because I needed to replace a few broken dishes. And she wanted to shop Eddie Bauer's. We had a bite of lunch and then I dropped Darlene off back at the Sam's Town RV Park. After they did a few errands we got together for dinner, drinks and stuffed jalapenos...our favorite!

Afterward, the six of us attended a Christmas program put on by the children of Highland Hills Baptist Church. Our niece Cindy is a Sunday school teacher there, and she did a wonderful job leading the younger children in song. Her son Bailey was one of the wisemen, and he looked so cute! We enjoyed the dessert served after the short program too! Arriving back home, we gave hugs and kisses one last time. Hopefully, we'll meet up together again on down the road. We have been so blessed to make many new RV friends. Including this wonderful couple.
