The Ammerman clan got together for the Thanksgiving holiday. We all met at my brother's (Ken)home in near Darien, Georgia. The Ammerman clan included: Ken, Gloria, Nila, and Lu; Farrell, Kim, Carter, and Casey; Chuck, Frances, Mitch, Ashley, Chris, and Adalyn; and Bill and Gary. The weekend was filled with so much fun. We arrived on Tuesday afternoon. Farrell and Kim and the boys arrived on Wednesday as well as Chuck, Frances and Mitch. Ashley, Chris and Adalyn arrived late, late Wednesday night.
On Wednesday evening, my brothere, Ken, prepared a terrific bonfire where we have steamed oysters. What a TREAT! There are several pictures of the evening.
Thanksgiving Day on Thursday was a busy day as everyone rushed around to prepare the meal. We had more that enough food..as a matter of fact we ate it for three days.
On Friday, we all went different directions. Some did some sightseeing while others just sat around and relaxed in the Georgia climate. But we all came together for a Low Country Boil which included shrimp, mussels, corn, rutabagas, potatoes, carrots, onions, and sausage. We all pigged out!!!
Saturday was a day to just sit around and chat and catch up on things.
On Sunday we all started on our trips back home.
It was a great four day holiday with the family. Enjoy the pictures.
