When we arrived in Stettler, we were able to get a campsite backing onto the local golf course. This works well because when John is not on the golf course, he can watch other golfers going by. Connie's had a busy week between visiting her mom in the hospital and then helping with nursing care at the lodge because Irene has shingles. While John has golfed six times (see Sept 16 for his hole in one) since arriving in Stettler, Connie's been able to fit in two games plus we've been taking daily walks with Shiloh. You'd think we were trying to get into shape or something.
The weather this week has been super with daily highs in the low to mid 20's. We've enjoyed being able to drive around Stettler without having to deal with the busyness of Calgary traffic. A half tank of gas has latest me all week instead of the tank I was using every two days driving from Cochrane to Calgary for work.
We really enjoyed getting some new pictures of baby Isla from Lucas via email. She's getting cuter everyday. I can't wait until I can give her a cuddle.
