We were up early and left by 8 am.A sunny day today nice for traveling. Scenic drive once into the valley with farms on either side of the highway.Arrived in Digby at 10.30 am.Got set up had lunch then headed for Clare Chrysler in Clare, Norn got a appointment to have oil changed on the truck. They took us on a days notice even offered us a car so we could go for lunch while the truck was there. People sure are great around these parts.

Digby is having there Scallop Festival so we'll be here to take in some of the events.

There is a concert tonight so were going to that. Great concert local entertainment.

Today we're going to drive the Neck of Digby a narrow penninsula jutting out from the mainland,Norm calls it the arm. This drive is taking us to two island, with two ferry crossings. The first Island is 18km. we drove into a number or the coves some being fishing villages.

The second Island being much small about 8km. across, the girl at the ferry stop said she was related to everyone on the island one way or another. We expected a lightly populated island and were surprised at the number of houses. All were either fishermen or employed in fishing. We arrived back home at 4pm. after dinner going into town to see what's going on.There were firework after dark so we had a real treat in this town.

Tomorrow on the road again.
