No Halibut but a table full of Flounder

Tue. 7-8

Here are a few photo’s of and around the city of Homer Alaska.

I decide its time to see if I can catch some fish from shore. We’re camped on the Spit, which is the fishing hole for King Salmon here in Homer. But no one is catching any much at all. I really came here to catch Halibut, but you need a boat to do that. So I’m off to lands end at the tip of the peninsula to do some shore fishing.

Well, Well I do have some luck, I come back to camp with 16 Flounder, enough for 7 or 8 meals. Check the photo.
