Arrived at Kayuta Lake Campground, NY at 3:30pm. Great campground!

This campground is a great place... IF your rig is less than 35'. When we arrived, I was directed to a site and headed down the road to park. When I saw it I had one of my "oh crap" moments. First, someone else was parked in our "reserved" spot so we had to back into the spot next door and that was hairy. It took 3 guys to guide me in and I did a lot of wiggling to clear the trees that were surrounding the site. I STILL took off a small branch with the top of my RV while trying to make a turn.

Once we got in, we were fine, but I wouldn't recommend this place for anything bigger than 35' or so.

Every site is covered with trees, so there's no satellite reception. We got 3 local channels on the antenna though! This is a place to bring a few good books and your fishing pole and just relax. It's about 10 miles off any main highway so there's no road noise at all and when I wake up in the morning all I hear are the birds chirping. the closest big store (Walmart) is 25 miles away so stock up on groceries before you arrive.

The owners were wonderful. I'd happily return to this place.. only if I could get spot 303.

Extended our stay until 6-23 because we got passport america rates! $17.50/day
