|The next day off we went with a plan to go to a small town 100 miles from Anchorage. When we got there it was closed as usual with this time of year. The rest went on and we refueled. We finally caught up with the group in a small lodge by a creek. Their rigs were outside so we went into the bar and there they were having some libation. The lodge was really neat with a big fire place, creek running right by the balcony and a English Mastiff which owned the place. Talked with the owner and then set up. Had breakfast at the lodge in the morning, everyone had eggs and reindeer sausage, it was pretty good. Off we went to Anchourage. Didn’t like the site in Anchorage so headed off to Seward.
