and an RV Resort! - Seven Feathers

Pushed ourselves a bit on the 4th for a longer drive than planned. After spending 3 1/2 hours in Medford OR at the Cummins Service Centre we drove a further 1 1/2 hours to Canyonville OR. We were at Cummins for an oil and fuel filter change as well as general service check. Larry also had his questions answered that he had been wondering about on the Cummins diesel engine. We decided to push on to Canyonville because we had noticed on the way down that Seven Feathers Travel Centre, Resort and Casino had cheap diesel fuel, even more important now that the price has increased so much. While looking to see if they had a campsite, we found that they have an RV Resort as well. It seems pretty new and a shuttle runs 24 hours a day between the RV park, the Travel Centre, the Casino and the little town. We didn't arrive until about 8:30, had a quick dinner of leftovers and went over to the Casino to play a little Keno. The games were slow so we decided to leave them and come back in the morning and check them. Larry won a whole $2 bucks!

The RV Park is a beautiful spot with Cow Creek running through it. The Umpqua band has done a terrific job of restoring the creek and there are lighted pathways the length of it with picnic spots and frogs. Nice!
