Capps Family Exploring This Great Nation travel blog

A natural creek that runs through the park.

Wildflowrs blooming on a spring day.

We spotted this beautiful Cardinal in a Hackberry tree. It took awhile...

This is a 350 acre botanical garden, Arizona's oldest, established in 1920. It is found at the base of Picketpost Mt. and includes most species of Sonora Desert Flora. In another month the cacti will be blooming. Today we saw the wildflowers already blooming as well as the apple trees on the grounds.
