The Oasis RV Park east of Dateland

Home at the Oasis in the desert near Aztec Mountains

We arrived in Dateland, AZ to what we consider "scorching" temperatures -- somewhere in the 80's. We have discovered that our optimal comfort zone is really pretty limited, and probably lower than we originally thought. Maybe about 60-75 degrees is our favorite zone.

Home is an RV Park that we had been to about 5 years ago. It is a bit east of Dateland and, of all things, is next to the railroad tracks! Can't seem to get away from the train. Glad we got used to that in Williams. We seem to be able to sleep through most of the horn blowing.

Leaving the Valley means leaving family for awhile. We plan to make a big circle from here to Quartzsite and back to the Phoenix area for Easter.
