Yesterday we took three buses and managed to make it all the way down to Bijapur (Karnataka). We haven't seen the town yet, because we are trying to get a few things posted home and rest from yesterday's bus-day. We left Ellora at eleven in the morning and made it to Bijapur at midnight. We took three local buses and were the only ones going from their first stop to the last, so we were able to meet a myriad of people from all over the place. They all wanted to know where we came from, where on Earth we were going, who was my husband, who was Toni then, what was our salary in Spain... really, these people are so good at questioning you about any possible private aspect of your life!! We actually find it quite funny. At some point, I had a three-year old falling asleep with his feet on my lap... Well, too many experiences and impression to put in words, but it was wonderful and long, very long.
We are again safe and sound, enjoying our time with Toni, who's having Fantas and Mirindas all the time (he says here they taste like they did in Catalunya when he was a kid) and we are in Bijapur, looking forward to get to know this city a bit more. We are staying at a hotel that has seen better days, to put it in a way... We had to kill a few coackroaches before going to bed last night, but I prefer that to the buzzing of threatening mosquitos, so we are happy anyway.
Love you all and we are so happy that you enjoy reading our adventures around the world!!! Miss you all so much!!!!
