Kelsi and Josh's Europe Trip travel blog

Well, we had a 10 hour non-stop flight from San Fransisco International Airport to London Heathrow International, and WOW 10 hours on an airplane = a sore bottom!! If at all possible I recommend upgrading to at least business class. We flew United and Josh made friends with a nice stewardess who snuck him an extra sandwich when he was starving between meals. They actually served us two meals that were pretty good. Luck for us, we managed to whiz through customs in about 25-35 minutes, then head straight to the baggage area where we immediately found our bags, and we managed to find the bus depot and be on our way to Reading in no time flat. Josh and I were pretty proud of ourselves over this, because Heathrow is HUGE! We each had a little hand-cart for our mini-mountain of luggage and although they were a little hard to deal with on the hills, we managed to get the hang of them. We were pretty wrung out by the time we got on the bus. The one we were on wasn't a double-decker, but we did see a couple of them on the road. Josh was totally tripped out to see the steering wheels and vehicles on the wrong side of the road...actually so was I even though I was expecting it. Well I'm exhausted so I'm off to bed...Stay tuned there is more to come. Cheers!
