Nice place to relax at the end of the day

Kate & I decided that we better break in our hiking boots before we leave for NZ so we headed off to the Grampians for the Melbourne Cup weekend - taking our friend Zoe with us.

After an eventfull 7 hour trip which should have lasted no more than 4 hours we finally arrived at our destination - the Emu Holiday Park in Wartook.

We only had 2 days of walking ahead of us. The first day was a little cold and drizzly but after that we had some reasonably nice weather.

The place we were staying was also an animal hospital. The owners are amazingly hospitable and even allowed us to give some of the resident wallabies their morning bottle. I don't have those photo's back yet but will put them in when I do.
