|Today, I spent the afternoon and evening with my friend Judy.
We started our visit at the nearest Steak & Shake - our favorite hamburger joint.
We celebrate our High School 50th Reunion next year! Hard to believe. We spent some time reviewing old High School pictures and bringing me up to date on who is where, doing what, etc.
We then went on line to an aviation website that sent us different sectors of Nevada's desert terrain to search for Fossett's plane crash site. That was incredibly tedious and the resolution below 1500 ft ASL was poor.
We then watched the MLB Cardinals get trounced by the Cubs. Judy is an avid Cardinals fan.
We ate dinner and then watched an old 1960's TV series - "Mission Impossible." It wasn't bad. However, it was humorous looking at all the fancy "electronic" gadgets they were using to get the bad guys. Remember the opening scene where the principle actor is asked if he wishes to take the assignment? Well, the narrative and question are asked on a 78 RPM record that burns at the end of the question. Pretty hi tech for the time.
