On our way to the south of England, we passed back through London and caught the opening stage of the Tour de France (first time ever starting in England). Not a good spectator sport, but several beer tents & a beautiful day made up for that.
We've been staying with Zimbabwean Craig, Paula, Thomas & Matthew Black (relatives of Meredith's Family) in Maresfield for the past two days. The boys have kept us fully & properly entertained and even managed to tire Trevor out with all the sports. We also saw Paula's sister (Philippa) and kids (William & Jennifer).
Yesterday we were in Brighton (on the coast) and were completely won over by it's charm, liberal atmosphere & seaside vistas!!!! Exactly our type of place....and actually it seemed to remind Trev more of the south of France than that of England... We were fortunate to be able to meet up with some friends, Doug & Lee (very good friends of Duncan, Mer's brother).
Today we head back to London for a final day there and tomorrow we are off to Dar Es Salam in Tanzania - yippie!!!!. Hope all is well at home... bye for now.
