What a Way to Practice Law!

We went to Saratoga today. What a treat that was. The countryside from Lake George to Saratoga is absolutely magnificent with all the lakes, rivers and streams in an alpine setting. Our first stop was at a beverage store to buy some Saratoga Springs Sparkling Spring Water in the Fancy Blue bottle. It is superb as far as sparkling waters go and Bob likes it better than Perrier. Next we went to the racetrack which unfortunately is closed for another three weeks, what a disappointment. We did tour the grounds which are very elegant and extensive, unlike any other track we have ever seen. The town is definately a horse racing town and they obviously love their track and heritage. The town is full of lovely Victorian style homes and just awesome architecture. Downtown is very quaint and we had lunch at an uptempo sidewalk cafe. Next we went to an Italian bakery for some Italian cookies. We saved the best for last. We went to the Saratoga Spa state Park built in 1934 by FDR. It is very tranquil and the mineral baths are sooo relaxing. We both had a steam and then a mineral bath and were like jello when we left. Very sweat. On the way home to the coach we stopped at a lakeside restaurant for dinner as we watched the lake glisten. It was so clear and calm that it was hard to determine where the line dividing the air and lake met. Very good day. Tomorrow we head for Rochester, NY to visit Bob's relatives. For those of you following our progress, we thank you for your support.
