Approach to the Badlands Park

Formation on the way to Camp

I was unable to get on line in the badlands so am posting this now.

We are now at home in the Badlands/White River KOA campground, which is south of the town of Interior. We had to drive thru the Badlands National Park to get here.Fortunately I still have my Golden Age Passport, which lets me,and anyone in my vehicle, in any National Park free. I picked that up on my first trip to Yellowstone, years ago and they were free then. Arrived here about 230PM MDT, so we have picked up another hour on our trip. We drove 292 miles in 5 hours driving time. Took our usual breaks for exercise and lunch at the rest areas. The ride on the new front air suspension is still great.

We will be here two nights, so tomorrow is sight seeing day.
