I mived further down the coast to the Catlins on my way to Stewart Island. The Catlins is a very southerly, very Scottish part of New Zealand. Even in the late summer, the hills were quite green, and the coastal pastureland was stunning. Not much else to say except pretty country and some interesting sights along the way
