Down time to complete the AARC manuscript -- a welcome opportunity.

We all have to connect and we need to be heard --...

These jacarandas were all at the airport.

Virgin Blue airlines are terrific -- easy bookings, easy changes if you need them, and painless check in.This time, the car vendor were Hertz, and they were terrific.

We drove north of Brisbane to Noosa, where we found a lovely place on Hastings street near the beach. At this time of the year, the water is smelly, and we found a very nice swimming pool at the Aquatic Centre. Gerry had some work to do, Darlene needed to contact her friends, and we succeeded in achieving both objectives. This place is a busy town with all of the needed services, and we enjoyed the opportunity to hang out and to enjoy the heat, again. Both of us found South Australia to be cold, at this time of the year.

Gerry was disppointed that he could not previously get at the AARC manuscript, as the connections were poor in McLaren Vale. This place met our needs very well. There was time to write, time to connect, time to sleep, and a good place to exercise.

Once again, we saw many beautiful apartments and condominiums that were empty. They obviously are used for part of the year, but we make a big investment -- so we can work harder to earn more? Living out of a backpack is a very different perspective.

We then moved on to Singapore, but not before getting some pictures of the most beautiful tree on the planet, the Jacaranda, in bloom.
