altitude is 5,300ft.

Miners often broke into crystal caves when mining copper. Some beautiful stuff.

One of several old Hotels

Took a day trip to Bisbee which is in the SE corner of AZ down by Mexico. It is a quaint, old mining town (copper) in a Canyon about 5,300 ft. high. Very pretty area of Oaks and mountains.

The town is now being gentrified but still has relatively inexpensive housing although Californias are beginning to move here. Advertises best 4 season weather in the world.

Nice place...one of our favorites.

we walked the downtown and went throught the museum. Then looped back home through Sierra Vista...a big town down near the border and then back up to Benson.
