Cub Scouts enjoying their lunch break at the floating market!

Today we went to the Dumnoen Saduak Floating Market near Wat Sai, one and half hours west of Bangkok. It was amazing, always wanted to do this! As we had no brekkie we were out to find someone with Pineapple on a stick to sell, we found a lady but then as we were trying to give her the cash after she gave us the goods, she accidentally got floated off, we then got teh cash to her and had to wait for our change until the next trip round... cool! I could sightsee and shop at the same time! :O) It was just like you see on the films and the holiday programmes! There were many cub scouts there having their lunch break (the boys) and doing a bit of retail therapy (the girls). We stopped at a Coconut Sugar Factory on the way home. The Thai's tend to use Cocunut Sugar in their cooking/desserts and not from the suga cane. It tasted nice, but a bit sickly after 6 pieces...ooops! Off to Cambodia tomorrow (up at 3.30am!). Chilling watching Borat and Casino Royal tonight in a cafe :O) hope the pirate copies are good! Bye!
