Ach!! Another snake to travel on this morning -- 33 miles this time. It was pretty but very slow. I had lunch in Lucerne in a pretty little park on the bank of Clear Lake. I walked out on the pier to get a better view.
Then it was on to Sacramento from there. I arrived in mid-afternoon about the time the afternoon traffic was getting underway but still well ahead of the main rush hour. I was glad for that. Daisy is resting on the street in front of Cousins Clarence's and Wanda's house. They have a beautiful large house on a cul-de-sac. Since it is a major holiday week end, they are letting me stay until Tuesday.
Clarence and Wanda took me to dinner tonight at Chili's. We had a good meal. Afterwards we stayed up until after 1:00 o'clock chatting. They have had some very interesting experiences over the years.
Now I'm back into hot weather so I put away my sweater and blanket. That cool weather on the Pacific coast was nice. Clarence gave me an extra-long extension cord so I could plug into an AC outlet on the front of their house. This generous gesture saves propane and makes it more comfortable inside the RV.
