|Kate Roberts had kindly booked us a lovely hotel along the Riverside (so she didn't slum it in back-packers!!), which had a huge swimming pool. Unfortunately I learnt there was also huge volumes of chlorine in it too as I cried for a day! The hotel was having building works, so the first night we got a complementary dinner which saved us the decision of where to go.
Lucy's big 25th birthday!! Decided to head to The Hard Rock Café as we knew live music was playing and Kate met us there just before we, and all the staff, sang to Lucy. Did a fair amount of shopping - found a great night-market that was really relaxed and not half as hectic as the one recommended to me by a girl I had met, which was a complete waste of time visiting. We all had foot massages, and my toes were pulled out their sockets again!
They left and I headed up to Khao San Road and my cheaper hotel with a swimming pool on the roof and met with Abi and Simon. Abi and I went for her final wedding dress fitting and she looked stunning, though I can't put any photos up just in case....We had a large night out where it was decided it was time for us to try a whisky bucket....or two!! A bucket of booze arrived with loads of straws for us to share.
Didn't do too much in Bangkok - really waiting to fly to India, so wandered around and took in the atmosphere.
