Fly from Vic Falls to lake Kariba, full of crocs now and cant swim there unless in a cage, land at Ruckamichi Camp right on the Zambezi river, first sighting of Elephants, walking thru camp, 2 game drives, sighted eles, zebra, porcupines, fish eagles, hippo, impalla, water buck, buffalo. saw big bull shke the tree and also chase me back to my room, had a young bull also chase our vehicle. They are so big and proud, some calves playing in camp was special as well.
The canoe trip was the highlight of the trip,I would recommend it to any one any age, the canoeing is easy, although some effort is needed to get away from the hippos sometimes, the guides were excellent and knew there shit so to speak. We got so close to hippo and LARGE bull elephants feeding it was beyond words .The lunch in the middle of the zabezi on the last day was special.worth every cent spent.......
