View from the highway, down the valley south into Queenstown

This was a short but sweet ride! We only had 80km to ride, but we stopped at an old mining town, Arrowtown, for coffee and snooped around abit. The road descended into Queenstown and the view was spactcular on the way. Queenstown is alot like Banff- it is a jumping off point for several ski areas and lake resorts. Lots of tourists here! You can do fast boat trips, bungy jumping, paragliding, lots of treks, and just about anything you can afford here. We decided to spend three nights here and use it as a jumping off point for some day trips in the area.
