Our last day in Tasmania and Mother Nature has finally decided to come to the party - it's warm and sunny, if a bit windy.
Stu has booked a golf game at Barnbougle, supposed to be one of the best courses in Tasmania. Luckily it's by Bridport, a pretty seaside town with good beaches, so I'm happy to hang out and get some much needed sun while he plays.
I find a nice, sheltered, secluded beach and have a lovely day hanging out reading and swimming. Stu is not so lucky. With the golf course right on the coast he cops every buffet of wind, which makes keeping the ball on the tee a wee bit difficult. Still, a game of golf, is a game of golf, and we've taken a good detour to get here, so he makes the best of it and still enjoys his game.
To have good weather is a joy ... feel like we've managed to thaw out after the days of chill.
