Opononi of the West Coast

A good luck Kauri Tree Hug

Kauri Forests up North

Kai Iwi Lakes

The few days we spent in Ahipara settled a great little trip up North just perfectly. The trip back to Auckland ended up being a one day affair down the west coast, stopping off at the largest Kauri tree in NZ called Tanemahuta, a little walk in a Kauri forest and a slip past the turquoise blue lakes of Kai Iwi. A tad uneventful, but a good trip down the west coast. Think it was going to be tough to beat the Bay of Islands and 90 Mile beach and thik we were quite keen to get back to the 5 star comfort of our home away from home with Tim and Marieanne in Auckland!

Had a super little trip up North that lasted exactly a week, one that Squat hadn't done when he was here last time and a lot of which was new to Sanch. Back to Greenhithe for some decisions and a little time with Vicki and Simon and the kittens.
