¡¡¡Hola!!!
We are in Chile now, just for four days, but in Chile anyway. We came all the way to Puerto Natales in order to trek for three days in the National Park Torres del Paine. We have now come back from our adventure and we are so knackered that we can't even write. It's been extremely beautiful, but extremely hard as well. We have walked 67Km. in three days and most of the time we were carrying our backpacks, camping tent and sleeping bags along with us while it rained. We can no longer feel our feet, but our minds are full of the most wonderful images of nature, such as the majestic Torres del Paine with that beautiful green lake at their base while snow fell in all directions covering the sky and two Andean Condors flew over our overwhelmed little heads.
This time, pictures aren't as good as the real thing... the weather didn't help much, but you can still sense how magic it was, I hope.
We are back in Puerto Natales now, enjoying the luxuries of having a bed, a shower and a kitchen, and greatly enjoying the company of Anita, her son Christian and her husband. We stayed at their home, where we had a hairdresser's right outside our bedroom's door, so convenient!
See you back in Argentina,
Idoia & Mikel.
