Robyn's 2010 European Adventure

Robyn's 2010 Trip Over the Pond travel blog
Welcome to my trip journal!

This year's trip includes a little bit of fun, and a whole lot of work! The fun part will include a couple of days of the opera season in Verona (in an outdoor arena built around the time of the Coliseum in Rome) and a couple of days wandering the non-touristy parts of Venice. Then a train through Switzerland and on to Alsace to search for my paternal grandmother's ancestors. The majority of my trip will be spent in England, sorting out the rest of the Kendall tree (and a couple of other minor lines), with touring and visiting friends on weekends when the various Archives are closed.

My itinerary is somewhat flexible, but I will update the Itinerary page here as I know where I will be travelling next.

Refer to the map below, which has green lines and numbered squares as I moved from one location to another. The whole trip will show on the Western and Central Europe map, but you can click on the other maps (like Robyn's Central England, Alsace or Northern Italy) below to see any of the areas in more detail.

Click any numbered square or on the links on the right for my posting and to see any related photos. (See my previous journal at www.mytripjournal.com/robyn50)

I hope you enjoy travelling with me!
