Apr 22, 2005 - Depart San Francisco on Air China's Boeing 747 wide-body aircraft and fly (12 hours) non-stop to Beijing. Cross the International Dateline.
Apr 23, 2005 - Beijing-Arrive Beijing in the evening. Lodging at Beijing Plaza Hotel.
Apr 24, 2005 - Beijing-After breakfast, depart Beijing by deluxe motor coach to explore the Great Wall, one of the seven world wonders. Enjoy a special Peking duck dinner tonight.
Apr 25, 2005 - Beijing-After breakfast, tour Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest and most famous square. Followed by a tour of the Forbidden City, where exquisite architecture and a vast glimpse of the staggeringly opulent lifestyles of the Chinese emperors and their concubines. Apr 26, 2005 - Beijing/Wuhan -After breakfast, visit the Temple of Heaven. Then fly (2 hours) to Wuhan. After dinner, board a deluxe Five-Star cruise ship, Regal China Cruiser (or similar class) and set sail.
Apr 27, 2005 - Yangtze River Cruise -Sail all day. Cultural programs and a Captain's Party are planned for today.
Apr 28, 2005 - Yangtze River Cruise -Visit the construction site of the Three Gorges Dam. Then begin your upstream journey into the spectacular Xiling Gorge, the longest of the Three Gorges.
Apr 29, 2005 - Yangtze River Cruise -Experience a once in a lifetime adventure when you transfer to a small riverboat and cruise up the tributary Shennongxi Stream for a close-up view of the life of the local minority people. May 1, 2005 - Chongqing/Dazu/Chengdu
Disembark the cruise ship and travel by motor coach to Chengdu. Enroute, visit Dazu, world famous for its stone Buddhist sculptures, about 50,000 of which are well preserved. Arrive Chengdu in the afternoon and check into Tibet Hotel.
May 2, 2005 - Chengdu/Lhasa,Tibet
After breakfast, fly (2 hours) to Lhasa, the world's highest city, also known as the "City of Sunshine." After check-in at Lhasa Hotel, spend the remainder of the day relaxing and acclimatizing to the altitude.
May 3, 2005 - Lhasa
After breakfast, visit the Dalai Lama's Potala Palace, which sits atop the sacred Putuo Hill. Enjoy serenades by Tibetan musicians while feasting on local cuisine.

May 9, 2005 - Shanghai
After breakfast, visit the Shanghai Museum. After lunch, enjoy the balance of the day exploring the city at your own pace, go shopping or simply relax.
