Three work days down, four to go! Whew, I am not used to standing on my feet for this many hours. And, we're so busy that neither Lou or I get a break most of the day. But, we knew that going in :) On the plus side, I'm really enjoying meeting folks from all over the country. Well, the world for that matter. Met some from Germany, France & Australia yesterday. The German's spoke NO English, except to say "I don't speak English", lol but they were all smiles while I helped them with their purchases. Fun :)

Custer hosts 'Custer Cruisin' from April 1-April 10th every year to coincide with the Sturgis Rally. It features vendors, a vintage bike show, and motorcycle activities including the annual Veteran's Appreciation Ride & Ceremony to be held August 7th. Of course the star of the entire event is the beautiful Black Hills! What a fabulous area for riding & so far the weather has been pretty fantastic for the riders.

Larry, John & Joyce took in the vintage bike show yesterday so all of the bike pics today were taken by Larry. Good job honey, you got some good shots! After I got off work we grilled some brats to go with the macaroni salad I prepared. Joyce added cole slaw & chocolate eclairs with ice cream to the mix & we all settled down to eat just as the rain came down. We had a pretty good storm for an hour or so, just long enough to give everything a nice sprinkle. I'm a happy girl as I want it to stay nice and green for another month :)

Well, gotta go, time to get ready for 'work'. Ha ha, glad I don't have to say that very often. Life is good, retirement is better! Especially if you are lucky enough to travel these beautiful United States and have the ability to stop & visit where you'd like, for as long as you'd like. Love it!

PS You can watch a live feed of all the action here if you like! General Custer & friends are greeting from about 10:30am to 2pm everyday through Friday.
