While strolling down Mt Rushmore Rd the other evening we 'discovered' a new to us neat store, Miners Mercantile. I'm not sure why we hadn't noticed it before as we've walked past it many times but perhaps it's because the lights were reflecting off the beautiful displayed rocks this particular evening! Anyway, we had a great visit with Terry, who was very informative & quite a funny guy. Terry has been in town four years & likes it here as much as we do. His store has some really cool 'stuff', a little bit of everything. I picked up a gift for a friend and we plan to take our visitor's back as I'm sure they will like their selection of neat stuff as well.

And speaking of visitor's, we can't wait until the Fiscus family arrive later this month!!!! We're gonna have a great time sharing the Hills hospitality with them! I know a few other family members that should be thinking about coming this way too, hint hint :)

Well, gotta run. I have to be at 'work' in an hour. Yep, I did say work! If you get to town stop in & say hi. I'm in the t-shirt shop right next door to Frontier Photo, two doors down from the Gold Pan Saloon. If you're riding a bike you might even want to take it on inside Frontier & get a shot taken onboard! They had Harley's riding in & out their front door all day long yesterday. Cool :)
