A relaxing morning saw us begin the day at Duncan’s Café and then worship, which included the introduction of our new Pastor Lisa. She led a delightful service and communion.

We picked up a few veggies at the grocery and came home and read for the cloudy afternoon. As Pat and Patty were coming to dinner, we prepared a blackberry/peach cobbler in the Dutch Oven, grilled Albacore Tuna from Oregon with Yashida/Italian Dressing glaze, and in the cast iron skillet outdoors on the cookstove, sautéed zucchini/summer squash/garlic/onions with fresh grated Parmesan cheese. Patty brought a delicious salad and we all feasted. It was great to be with good friends and to share.
