On the way to the monument

After spending 6 hours or so at Mesa Verde, we decided to make the 100 mile round trip over to the Four Corner's Monument. John had been there 50 years ago when it was just a concrete slab in the desert. Since then the Navajo Nation has taken it over. Entry fee: $5 each. With a sign stating that the Golden Passport which gets you in to all Nation Parks free was NOT ACCEPTED. There were kiosks surrounding the monument where Navajo craftsmen sold their goods. I will probably go back to see this again... perhaps in 50 years! lol
