Peter at Paradise Mini Golf

Connie at Paradise Mini Golf

Connie in the park

Hi.

Yes you read correctly – we had 6 games of 18 hole mini golf in the 3 days we were away! Actually we only went to three different venues. Riverside is where we camped and their course was pretty good – Peter & I tied. Then we played both courses at Paradise – Treasure Island and Turf & Surf. These courses were equally as challenging and very enjoyable to play. Peter beat me at both courses – but not by much! Of course since we are out of practice both our final scores were over par. The gift shop in this location was wonderful – the prices were reasonable and the variety fantastic! We would love to come back to this place and play again.

The next place we stopped was Riptide. They have an easy course called Mountain Golf and it was easier (except we still did not end up under par and Peter won this one too). We also played two games at their more challenging course called Lagoon Golf – Peter won one game and I actually won the other! This is another place that would be nice to come back to play. Overall we liked the Paradise the best – it was challenging, clean, tidy and well kept.

A very good, enjoyable weekend – the only thing missing was finding a place to play horseshoes – maybe next time. From sunny Parksville, Peter & Connie
