I like the Lexington area! Beautiful :)

As I mentioned in my last post, we arrived at Keeneland and thought we were visiting the world's leading thoroughbred auction company to take a self-guided tour of the facility. What we didn't realize was this facility has thoroughbred racing twice annually & we were right smack dab in the middle of their October racing season!

We decided to stick around for a bit and entered the grandstand area in time to chat with a couple of jockey's, check out the amazingly beautiful horses, take a few pics of the track & the crowd and watch one race. The horses were beautiful and fun to watch. Some were very high spirited and seemed to sense that their moment to 'shine' was going to happen in just a few minutes. I taped a short video of the 'announcement' and a second short video of the final few yards of the race. If your Internet speed is fast enough you can click on the links on the previous blog page. Enjoy!
