Nevada and Utah highways were long and straight

Springville, Utah KOA Campsite

October 29 – Drive to Springville, Utah

We drove on many long, straight, flat roads today without issues. We were the only ones using the highways. The yellow leaves are beautiful here in Springville, south of Salt Lake City.

To further prepare for a cold 16F night in Laramie, we put RV antifreeze in the gray and black tanks and used both the gray and the black pumps to fill the pumps with the pink fluid.

We will dump our fresh water tank when the ambient temperature is below 32F either on the way to Laramie or when we arrive at Laramie. We will use the water in the bladder tanks in lieu of water from the fresh water tank.

At night, we will turn on the gray and black tank heating pads that are pasted to the bottom of the tanks.

It is great to be heading east. : )
