Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

Larry & Paul visiting on the deck...

Waiting for my baby back ribs & all the trimmings to be...

Marcie baked me an angel food cake!

A much needed new address book!

The next evening Larry took me out for dinner...Filet mignon, salad etc....

It's starting to hail...

As you can see there were numerous sizes landing on our doormat...

Many of them were the size of a half dollar & even...

Tuesday we started off our day with 2 hours of line dancing. Oh my, Pat is trying to kill us, lol! We really do enjoy it and we seem to be improving. I'm not sure when we'll have a chance to do any dancing any time soon but we want to be ready just in case!

My birthday also happened to be on Tuesday and Larry pretty much spoiled me rotten. He gifted me a beautiful necklace and earring set and he also ordered Photoshop for me. It hasn't arrived just yet but I think UPS should bring it today. I've been wanting Photoshop for quite sometime and hopefully it will improve my photos enough that I can figure out a way to market them. Any ideas anyone??? If so, please let me know. I'm looking for a way to pump up our income a bit each month. Things just seem to be rising in cost each & every day! Have you noticed that too?

I have to tell you that having birthday's really needs to stop! Even though I feel fabulous (for my age!) it's hard to believe it when I look in the mirror. I still feel so young at heart. What is it they say, you're only as young as you feel? Well, I work hard at staying active, keeping as many wrinkles away as possible and eating somewhat good. So, I'll dummy up now & be grateful I'm breathing to enjoy this birthday, lol!

Wednesday we had the worst hail storm we've ever been in. Many were over half dollar size. We had some damage, but not near what many of our friends got. Larry hasn't been on the roof yet to see if we lost A/C covers, vents etc. The big awning has small holes everywhere but Larry managed to roll the window awnings up and saved them both. Anyway, we survived and so did the truck so we're grateful for that!

Yesterday we took another class, did a few chores around the house and went to listen to music for a couple of hours last night. I've been working on my hand exercises for my ukulele and am anxiously awaiting for my instructional DVD to arrive.

Tomorrow we're going to a Don Williams concert in Deadwood with a group of friends. Our first visit to Deadwood this year. Looking forward to that. So, that's it for now. As you can see we are staying busy but we're trying to stay that way until we leave. Only about 10 days left in the Hills. Wow, has this summer ever flown by!

PS Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes. I received many calls, cards, emails & FB posts! I really was blown away and it was greatly appreciated!!! :)
