Spent the day yesterday doing a few chores around the house and messing around with my new Ukulele. I ordered a training DVD & book and downloaded numerous pages of helpful hints. Having never played a musical instrument before makes it a bit tougher to get started. I don't read music and I can't sing a lick! Why did I want to do this????? LOL

Seriously, I am really looking forward to the day I can pick out at least one tune. And Larry's been working with his guitar too so who knows. Maybe we'll both get the hang of it. We're hanging out with too many musicians to just sit there like a bump on a log

The temperatures have soared into the mid 80's the past few days. I have to say I really like it in the mid 70's better but I suppose Fall temps will get here soon enough. It's 10am and 76 right now. Pretty awesome...

The campground is filling up for the Labor Day weekend. It's nice to see folks enjoying themselves as most of this group are what we call 'weekenders' taking a break from the hustle & bustle of their normal routine. We've heard a few ambulances scream by headed into the park though, so if you are out and about this busy holiday weekend please travel safely. We'll probably bbq and stick pretty close to home for most of it. Have a great weekend everyone!

P.S. I've been posting a photo a day on Facebook taken during our travels so I'll share a few here in case you aren't on FB. I was moving a few things to our external hard drive and many of these pics brought up some great memories!!! Can't wait to make some new ones here in about two weeks as we move on...
