Larry, Paul & Marcie...Time to eat!

Nice pic of them out on the deck afterward...

Chatting with friends...

Time for pie. Thanks Marcie, they were both delicious!

Linda, helping out with the ice cream. The guys look happy don't...

Meanwhile, Onyx and one of Paul's feral kittens are having a face-off!

Check out her eyes! Round as saucers and she never blinked the...

Five minutes and neither one of them moved a muscle, lol...

And finally, Larry picked up some lovely veggies at the farmer's market...

Not much going on in our world right now. It's been beautiful the past couple of days and looks like the storms may finally have moved on. Sunday I prepared an enchilada casserole with all the trimmings and we joined Paul & Marcie at their place for dinner. I have to admit that it is sometimes very nice to be able to 'spread out' while dining as compared to the smaller space in the 5'er.

Marcie baked a cherry pie & a lemon meringue and a couple of the other RV'ers in the campground joined us for dessert afterward. It was an enjoyable evening chatting and exchanging stories about our lives. Our new friends are farmers and have to be leaving by the end of the month to make sure they get home in time for their harvest's. Would love to visit them & in fact, we have an invite to come and hang out for a few days. And, they have 50 amp service. Might have to take them up on that offer!

We have line dancing this morning and Onyx is getting groomed at 1pm today. I usually take her in the shower with me & we blow her dry outside but she needs a bit of feet, face & tail work and I haven't taken that chore on as of yet. She's too squirmy, makes me nervous. And, her toenails are black so trimming them is more difficult than others. Even the vet has nicked her and made her poor little feet bleed, twice! I'm not even going to attempt it as I don't wanna be the bad guy, lol!

Tomorrow we plan to finally get some fishing in. Yayyyy, I am so ready for some time on the lake. We'll probably fish Bismark and then do some early evening 'cruisin' on Stockade over the next couple of weeks. Our time here is almost done, boo hoo. We need to get out a bit more while we still can :)
