We had a great time at the Friends of Wind Cave 100th Anniversary of the Bison event this weekend. It was well organized with several vendors, some great food & a lovely quilt that was raffled off (we didn't win, sigh). We especially enjoyed the concert by Jack Gladstone last night. Jack is a Native "Poet/Singer" and lecturer from the Blackfeet Indian Nation of Montana. Regarded as a cultural bridge builder, he delivers programs nationally on American Indian myth, legend and history and was the perfect ending for the Friends of Wind Cave event.

At the end of the evening Larry & I were invited to join Brad & Bonnie and Jack & Patty for a bite to eat. We enjoyed hearing about their life in Montana and learned that in addition to producing 15 CD's, Jack has worked for many years at Glacier National Park and at one time played football (halfback) for Washington in the Rose Bowl. An interesting guy for sure.

Enjoy the pics and thanks for stopping by!
