CABLE SNAKE (Very Rare )

We arrived in Brooking, Oregon on a reasonably bright day!!! We have a great view of the beach and the campground is located where the Chetco River dumps into the Pacific. It is great to be able to walk the dogs on the beach, and the views of the Oregon coast are great just to watch. Our first day the guys, Ron, Bob & I found a neat place called Chetco Point Park, so we took a short hike and saw some neat views of the coastline looking back from a point we hiked up too. The second day we took a neat hike on "Harris Beach" which according to "Trip Advisor" is the #1 attraction in Brooking! The hike along the beach was a lot of fun and I think everyone was happy with the day at the beach. Today our last day in Brookings we took a hike in the Arthur A. Loeb State Park which had a lot of ferns, moss covered trees and rocks, and followed a pretty creek through a beautiful forest. Please note picture #47 is a very rare snake discovered by explore Ron in 2013,I've included this picture especially for Lynda in Kingman. Tomorrow we head north to Coos Bay Oregon to spend the next five days.
